ACE Network & Learn: Are your event contracts protecting your business?
Invaluable for anyone engaged in creating or adapting business contracts and agreements. Led by Amanda Williams, Head of Commercial Law at 360 Business Law, the session will help prepare you to write contracts that protect your event business from risk and will cover basic contract law, standard terms and conditions and terms and conditions specific to event and event management contracts. There will also be a Q&A section and the opportunity to network with the presenter and other event professionals.
Presenter Profile: Amanda Williams of 360 Business Law is a highly experienced commercial and legal professional with extensive knowledge of Contract Law across the majority of industry sectors. Amanda has worked in private practice and as an in-house employed barrister which makes her well placed to understand the issues that companies encounter and to offer pragmatic and tailored advice. Amanda joined the company in April 2015 as Head of Commercial Law.

ACE joins British Polio Fellowship in Northern Ireland for PPS Awareness Day 2016
ACE were delighted to be able to attend PPS Day in Northern Ireland this year which was held at Stormont Castle. The day, hosted by Northern Ireland Polio Fellowship, was as informative as ever and continued to highlight the need for medical professionals to recognise Post Polio Syndrom and the challenges it brings to those affected. Afternoon tea was followed by a welcome from David Mitchell, Chair of Trustees, a welcome the Northern Ireland Assembly and an real insight into PPS from Dr Francis Quinn who spoke about her personal experience.
